Why injectors recommended a 2 week follow up appointment post injections by Emily J.

When we treat a patient with tox, our goal isn’t just a good result it’s the right result for their face, their movement, and their expectations. That’s exactly why we always recommend a two-week follow-up appointment.

At the two-week mark, the product has fully settled. What you see at that point is the true outcome. How the muscles have responded, how expressions have softened, and how everything is balancing together. Right after treatment (or even a few days in), things can still be evolving. Small asymmetries, areas of stronger muscle activity, or spots that didn’t fully “take” yet can show up once everything has had time to develop.

This follow-up gives me the opportunity to fine-tune your results. Sometimes that means adding a small amount of product to create better symmetry or soften a remaining line. Sometimes it means doing nothing at all! Just confirming that everything looks beautiful and natural. Either way, it’s about precision. Tox isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment, and the best results often come from these subtle adjustments.

It’s also a chance for you to check in. You can tell me how things feel, what you’re noticing in your day-to-day expressions, and whether the result matches what you were hoping for. I want you to feel confident, not just when you leave your appointment, but in the weeks that follow.

Think of the initial appointment as the foundation and the two-week follow-up as the refinement. That’s how we create results that look effortless, balanced, and truly tailored to you.
